Trump's words and the same idea defended by the Republican Party of Cuba

Donald Trump's recent statements on #Iran , in which he sent a direct message to the Iranian people urging them to take control of the institutions against a regime he considers illegitimate, connect with a political line that in the Cuban case has been defended for years by the Republican Party of Cuba.
Since the social uprising of July 11, 2021, the Republican Party of Cuba has maintained a clear thesis: when a regime loses legitimacy and territorial control, the leading role of change falls to the organized citizenry.
Since then, the Republican Party of Cuba has been arguing that a sufficiently large demonstration could cause the collapse of local power.
In its documents and positions, the party describes a scenario in which the municipal structures of the State—especially the police and political ones—cease to respond to central power and become vulnerable to popular pressure.
One of the first indicators of a breakdown would be the occupation of police stations, the arrest of those in charge, and the seizure of existing weapons, leaving these facilities under the control of protesters while they move toward other structures of power. The plan includes the arrest of the head and second-in-command of municipal security, their disarmament and detention, as well as the confiscation of any weapons under their control.
Along the same lines, the Republican Party of Cuba maintains that the secretary and second of the Communist Party of Cuba in the municipality should be arrested, as well as the president and vice president of the People's Power, proceeding in the same way if they are carrying weapons.
The plan also includes neutralizing the leaders of the paramilitary rapid response brigades, which the party considers instruments of direct repression.
Another point that the Republican Party of Cuba has emphasized is the importance of taking over radio stations or other local media to guide the population at a time of breakdown of state control.
According to this analysis, once that point was reached, the tyranny would have lost effective control of the municipality. As a subsequent measure, the establishment of barricades at the entrances is proposed to prevent the repressive reorganization.
With the aim of preventing anarchy, the Republican Party of Cuba proposes the immediate creation of a temporary Government of National Salvation. This government would be composed of individuals not aligned with the regime, including protest leaders, representatives of opposition organizations, churches, and fraternal organizations such as Freemasons, Orphelus, and Knights of Light.
According to this proposal, the council would be responsible for ensuring the continuity of the healthcare system, the operation of the fire service, the maintenance of law and order, and the organized distribution of humanitarian aid. Furthermore, it would act as an intermediary with the international community, demonstrating the capacity to govern responsibly and conveying stability to neighboring countries and the rest of the world.
The party has indicated that the duration of this National Salvation Council would be limited, with the sole objective of preventing chaos, guaranteeing basic services, and subsequently giving way to a transitional government that will lead to free and democratic elections when the conditions exist.
The Republican Party of Cuba has repeatedly addressed a message to members of the military and career officers, urging them not to use weapons against the population in defense of what they describe as a family elite in power.
Those with blood on their hands must answer to the courts, as must those who gave the orders, and they maintain that the regime seeks to compromise the armed forces to guarantee its own survival.
In this context, the Republican Party of Cuba argues that the country's international relations should develop in accordance with the stance taken by different states in the face of a possible overthrow of the tyranny.
The coincidence between Trump's message to the Iranian people and the position maintained by the Republican Party of Cuba since July 11, 2021 lies in a common premise: when a dictatorship loses legitimacy and political control, the citizenry becomes the central actor of change.
The dictatorship must not only fall, but be politically buried to prevent its return.
