Today, September 1st, the Republican Party of Cuba celebrates its 17th anniversary. Its founding objective remains unchanged: to fight against the Castro-communist tyranny until its overthrow and, subsequently, together with the people, rebuild a republic based on the rule of law, so that prosperity and happiness may return to its people. That moment has not yet arrived, which is why we are not celebrating. Instead, within the context of this date, its members and leaders in the underground have sent a message to the people of Cuba through leaflets and posters, the content of which reads:

Fighting for freedom is a divine right.
