Statement from the Cuban Revolutionary Party (PRC) regarding the Chinese virus pandemic in the world and Cuba

Miami. (PRC)- To all members, followers and friends of the Republican Party of Cuba, inside and outside the Island.

Take care of yourselves and stay alert, protecting yourselves individually, your family and friends, in this way you take care of your community, following the guidelines given by the doctors.

For those on the island, the situation is doubly worrying, and in addition to the aforementioned directives, they must acknowledge that they face an inept and irresponsible tyranny that cares nothing for the health and safety of the people and is completely vulnerable due to the economic crisis into which they have plunged the country. Add to this the international pressure for the violation of a vast list of international and domestic crimes, where they disregard every single point of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The people have been showing signs of discontent through the recognized opposition, anonymously through clandestine groups, and spontaneously, which increases the pressure on the military clique. Now, their unconditional ally, the narco-trafficking regime of Venezuela, has been targeted, and there are bounties on their heads, putting them on a countdown to losing control of power in Venezuela. These crimes could also implicate the criminal Cuban dictatorship, their mentors. The Chinese coronavirus pandemic has worsened the situation, and their traditional arrogance and overbearing refusal of US aid, coupled with the publicity stunt and exploitation of US personnel, along with having a significant number of doctors and healthcare workers abroad, and the precarious state of medical services on the island, further aggravates the situation.

All of the above could lead to a large number of human losses, which we do not know if the people are willing to tolerate due to the ineffective response of the military clique in power, and could lead to the collapse of the tyranny. Therefore, we advise the leaders of our organization, the rest of the opposition, and any others that may emerge in this crisis, to be ready to replace the collapsed government, which has failed to solve the problems, and to assume the reins of the nation through a government of national salvation, starting at the municipal, provincial, and national levels. They can be assured that the Cuban people abroad will respond immediately to come to their aid, and with international support, save the nation and take the necessary steps toward democracy.

Members of our organization abroad can count on those who would receive guidance to move to the country by any means, as soon as possible, and put themselves at the service of the cause.

As we always tell the military, do not be afraid to side with the people, for it is your first duty. You no longer owe respect to those who lead you, for you are aware, with the information you already have, that they are opportunists and corrupt.

Our organization has concrete political, economic, and social plans that, with national consensus and together with all democratic forces, will lift the country out of the misery in which it finds itself.

We will triumph!
