Havana, Cuba - The Sector Chief threatened Piloto at his home in the Old Havana municipality, telling him that if he did not leave Cuba by boat, he would be charged with the crime of disobedience.
For his part, Vladimir Calderón, former National Director of the Republican Party of Cuba, currently residing in Paraguay and a member of the party's National Board of Directors, said: "Josiel is a former political prisoner recognized by Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience. He is also a founding member of the Republican Party of Cuba in Old Havana."
In response to threats from the Castro regime's SS, Josiel informed the organization that he is prepared to begin a hunger strike until the threats and harassment cease.
And this Monday, February 16, with a group of opponents of the organization and others, they took out signs against tyranny and sewed their mouths shut.
