Regla, Havana, Cuba. (PI)- Last Wednesday the 19th, members of the Republican Party of Cuba (PRC) Regla delegation were summoned to the National Revolutionary Police unit in the municipality of Regla at 1:00 pm by political police officers who call themselves: Francisco, Fabio, Raúl and Ariel.

The opposition members were interrogated by these officers, who threatened them and offered them jobs. They warned that if they continued their dissenting or counterrevolutionary activities, they would face the wrath of the revolutionary people. The interrogations lasted from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, during which the women were subjected to extreme psychological pressure. They were told of possible reprisals against their families, and even threatened to implicate them in criminal acts and fights in which they could be seriously injured or even killed. Furthermore, they were told that PRC members would not be allowed to commemorate the death of Orlando Zapata, much less the downing of the planes. This information was provided by Caridad García Carta and Kirenia Díaz Arguelles.
