Official declaration of the working agreement between the Republican Party of Cuba and the FNRC. OZT.

Vladimir Calderón Frías, National Executive Director of the Republican Party of Cuba.

Havana. (PRC) - In meetings held between the Republican Party of Cuba and the Orlando Zapata Tamayo National Civic Resistance Front, observing that we share the fundamental objective of this moment, which consists of the elimination of the communist dictatorship existing in our country, in addition to coincidences in the interpretation of the current Cuban reality, and that we use the same method of strategic non-violent but active struggle, demanding our freedom and rights, both organizations have decided to coordinate efforts in the work to have better results in this battle for freedom.

Out of the utmost respect, we invite organizations that consider coordinated efforts, based on unity of purpose and action, as the path to shortening the regime's end date to join us. We call upon the exile community and the international community at large, committed to freedom, to determine the most appropriate forms of solidarity to support this effort, maintaining open communication with these courageous individuals to understand their needs. And we send a message to the dictatorship and the world that we want a new government, elected by the people in free, multi-party, transparent elections with international observers.

We take this opportunity to demand the unconditional release of all political prisoners currently incarcerated, victims of the anachronistic laws imposed by the current penal code. We send a special message of solidarity to our brothers and sisters on hunger strike, whose lives are at risk, and demand that the regime guarantee them medical attention to prevent their deaths, as they will be solely responsible for any fatal outcome.

We will triumph!
