Miami (PRC) - The following letter has been sent to Senators Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Rick Scott and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, in both languages, following the press conference given by Attorney General William Barr.

433 NW 25 Ave #1 Miami, Fl. 33125

Miami 04/03/2020

Honorable Mr. Mitch McConnell

Senator of the United States of America.

601 W Broadway #630, Louisville, KY 40202

Honorable Senator, in a press conference given on March 26, 2020, by the Secretary of Justice, William Barr, charges were filed against Nicolás Maduro, usurper of power in Venezuela, and a group of the top brass of the narco-dictatorship, offering million-dollar rewards for information that helps in their detention and arrest.

The Cuban community in the United States, other parts of the world, and within the island, together with the Venezuelan people, have welcomed this courageous step taken by the administration of President Donald Trump to end narco-communism, the suffering of the Venezuelan people, and the harm caused to the people of the United States by the shipment of that drug to the country.

On the other hand, this same community mentioned earlier has been surprised to see that the mentors of that mafia group operating in Venezuela, who provide security for Nicolás Maduro, facilitate his intelligence for criminal activity, his international relations, and the violation and repression of the Venezuelan people's rights, are the Castro-communist tyranny, and yet they have not even been mentioned in the long list of those accused. It is common knowledge, however, that they are complicit in these charges and in violating the same rights of the Cuban people.

On behalf of the undersigned organizations, their members, followers, friends, and due to the numerous messages we have received from the community you so ably represent, we request that you seek support among other members of Congress and convey the community's interest to the administration and Congress in taking these steps and formulating the same charges against the Castro-communist tyranny in Cuba with the same objective.

Thank you for your response and attention to this request.

Due to the national emergency caused by the Chinese virus, the letters have not been delivered personally and have been sent by regular mail, email and fax.

In order for our senators and representatives to have the tools to carry out this initiative, it is important that the community, which agrees with bringing the officials of the Cuban military tyranny to trial for the same crimes as those in Venezuela and more, send emails and make calls to the offices of the senator and the congressman so that the petition becomes a matter of community interest and they facilitate the process, since they are our representatives.
