Landfill cleanup concludes with march demanding rights

San Miguel del Padrón, Havana, Cuba. (PI, video at the end ) - Community sanitation activity by members and directors of FLAMUR in the Reboledo neighborhood of San Miguel del Padrón. These women were supported by members of the Republican Party of Cuba and the "Juan Wilfredo Soto García" Civil Movement.

There was support, at the times of carrying out the cleaning action, from the population present in this peripheral neighborhood of the capital, since the unsanitary conditions and absence of municipal government prevail generate this local problem in San Francisco de Paula which has caused so far according to confirmed reports 17 cases of cholera and 32 of dengue.

Following this noble task, we decided to hold a public march back, reclaiming the rights that this regime has taken from us for more than half a century and demanding a new government that guarantees them for the people in their socio-economic and political progress.

Long live FLAMUR and the PRC, together with all the forces that support us and the ordinary people!
